Coaching
is a powerful tool to bring about change. It can help you go from where
you are to where you want to be so you can live a life with joy, love
and meaning. In my coaching sessions with you, I do not give you the
answers to your life but rather, help you find your own answers. I use
many tools in my coaching arsenal but in particular I use the powerful
combination of You can Heal Your Life Process and Emotional
Freedom Technique.
With
the You Can Heal Your Life Process we look at what is blocking you from
self-love. We look at where you get in your own way. With Emotional
Freedom Technique we can get more insights and easily release what
no longer serves you. You will be given homework assignments to help
you further your work.
About
Emotional Freedom Technique
EFT is
a healing technique that is used worldwide by many psychologists,
psychiatrists, doctors, coaches, Hypnotherapists, chiropractors and
naturopaths. It was developed by Gary Craig, a Stanford engineer,
in 1991. EFT is based on the discovery that mental and physical problems
are often a disruption in the body's energy system. In essence, EFT
is a psychological version of acupuncture except that needles are
not used. Instead we gently tap with fingertips on selected points
across the energy meridians. Clients are taught to tap on the points
themselves while focusing on the presenting problem. As a rule, results
are far more effective than with conventional methods. Since the mind
and body are so connected, EFT often provides relief for physical
symptoms as well.
Often
we get insight into why we are troubled by certain emotions (like
fear) but the insight does little to eradicate the problem. The elegance
of EFT is that once you uncover the problem, you can eradicate it
by balancing the body's energy. Amazing results follow.
How
do you know it is working?
I teach
all my clients to calibrate their own level of discomfort on a scale
of 1-10 after we focus in on the problem. On the scale, 10 is the
worst state and 0 is complete comfort and well-being. After the tapping
session, the client concentrates on where he is on the scale. This
is the way the client can assess the diminishment of the fear, pain,
anxiety or anger that is robbing him or her of peace and well-being.
Extensive
application of EFT has shown impressive improvements in a wide variety
